Holder Industrial Design, Inc. is a Christian owned small factory automation company in Greensboro, NC. • NEW SYSTEMS: The customer is involved in all phases of construction of a new system. During the concept and design phase the customer is presented the concept for suggestions and approval. During the construction phase the customer is invited to visit. At completion the machine is run-off at our facility for the customer. During installation, maintenance personnel are informed of machine maintenance requirements. After installation, operator instruction is provided. Each custom system comes with detail drawings, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.

• RETROFITS: A rework or retrofit is treated the same as a new system with the plans laid out from the beginning of the project to reduce down time for the rework. The customer is closely involved in reworks because of timing issues. Typical reworks involve wear part replacement, cylinder and rotary actuator rebuilds, addition of PLC controls, rewiring and programming. The ultimate goal is to bring the machine up to or beyond the original performance standard. In today’s competitive environment a rework or retrofit may be the best solution.

• SERVICE: Holder Industrial Design’s services all the equipment we sell. If controls are the problem, we have experience with many brands of PLC’s and controllers including Allen Bradley, Automation Direct, and Compumotor to name a few. Hydraulics and pneumatics are no problem as well.
